Bible Reading Plans
Some Christians have not read through the New Testament. Others have read through their Bibles many times. No matter where you are in your personal study of Scripture, you would be well served by the structure of a Bible reading plan.
There are several Bible reading plans available -- each have their strengths. We'd like to encourage you to consider taking one of these and pursuing a year in personal Bible study.

D. A. Carson's Reading Plan & Devotional For the Love of God:
This collection of books (Vol 1, Vol 2) offers systematic 365-day plans based on the M'Cheyne Bible-reading schedule. In the course of a year it will guide you through the New Testament, Psalms, & Proverbs twice and the Old Testament once by reading 4 chapters a day (if you read only the first two chapters listed, you will read through the New Testament, Psalms, & Proverbs and half of the Old Testament in a year). The main link to "For the Love of God" is to a daily blog post that provides each daily devotional for free -- subscribe to the blog via email or reader and you can have your devotions delivered daily for free.
Disclaimer: The Author of Hebrews exhorts believers to be discerning, saying, "solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil" (Hebrews 5:14). In light of this text we encourage readers to digest the resources we provide on our website with discernment (including our own material). These resources may contain ideas that we do not fully embrace.
