JOEY MCNALLY | Senior Pastor
Pastor Joey was raised in the northwest corner of Connecticut. He moved to Michigan to begin seminary in 2005. While in seminary, he joined the pastoral staff at MBC. Joey transitioned into the role of Senior Pastor in August of 2016 after serving as the Youth & Assistant Pastor for nine years. He is committed to expositional preaching and desires to see our church know God and obey His word. He holds a degree in Bible from Northland Baptist Bible College and a Master's of Divinity from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife Julie, have one daughter, Brooke. Joey enjoys playing golf, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with his family.
GLEN CURRIE | Assistant Pastor
Pastor Currie was born and raised in Allen Park, Michigan. After graduating from Bob Jones University, he began pastoral ministry as an assistant at Inter-City Baptist Church. In 1987, shortly after he graduated from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, he accepted Maranatha's call to become Senior Pastor. He served in that role for twenty nine years before transitioning into his current role as Assistant Pastor. Pastor Currie shares in the preaching and teaching load and oversees our member care. He and his wife Sue raised their three children, Scott, Kristin, and Laura here. A few of his favorite pastimes are Michigan football, Tigers baseball, and hanging out with his grand kids.
DAVID WATSON | Youth Pastor
David Watson has attended Maranatha since he was in seventh grade. After graduating from high school David became interested in serving Christ in full time vocational ministry. He attended Bob Jones University where he graduated with a degree in Bible. David loves missions and has been privileged to serve on short-term missions trips to Asia and North Africa. Before joining the staff at Maranatha, David and his wife, Sarah, taught English in southeast Asia. David currently serves as the Youth Pastor. He enjoys football, volleyball, and learning foreign languages.
