What to Expect

Our services are marked by careful consideration of biblical teaching, passionate corporate singing, and caring interaction with one another.

Sunday Morning

We are made up of young and old. We average 300 people in attendance. Dress tends toward business-casual, but you can find anything from khakis to suits. At 9:15 am we meet for Adult Bible Fellowships and Sunday School to study God's Word.

Our morning service begins at 10:30 am. During the morning service we sing several songs, offer prayers to God, read Scripture, and give our offerings in worship to God. The preaching at Maranatha is expositional, meaning that it seeks to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage. Sermons usually last between 40-50 minutes and challenge the audience to reflect on and respond to God's message.

Sunday Night

Our evening services are quite similar to our morning services. We come together at 6 pm to praise God in song, corporate prayer, and the preaching of God's Word.

Wednesday Night

Guests will find plenty happening at Maranatha on Wednesday nights. Many of our adults are involved in leading our Awana program, beginning at 6:20 pm. Starting at 7 pm, three separate meetings begin. The teens get together for their midweek program in the back of our building. The College & Career, a group of single adults, meets for prayer and Bible study. Everyone else meets together for prayer and Bible study in our auditorium at 7 pm.
